Hey guys, I am currently running a T5 HD, and with the recent tp changes is there an easier way to rescan sats? without having to manually scan each TP?

I did a factory reset on an stb a few days ago and during the rescan I had to make some changes to a few transponders on 110w in order to get a signal again.. Give this post a read before you go re aiming your dish which is probably not necessary, anyways here is the post: http://www.satfix.net/showthread.php?185942-Isn-t-this-FTA-D-Day&p=1161890#post1161890 try making those changes and see if you get the channels back you are missing.

thanks! it actually turns out some of my lnbs plastic coverings have broken due to the winter

Some tp from 110 was update to 8psk 2/3. That means the factory sat list need to be updated with the new tp freq spec 8psk

Thanks for the list. Will change the frequency and hopefully get the channels back unless it has to be changed from the servers end to view them.

All you need to do is go to manual scan...see tp 12.224

Change symbol rate to 21.500 - Set Tranmission to Turbo 8PSK - FEC to 2/3

Exit out, then go to auto scan on 110

I loaded this channel file on usb stick and when I put it in my DL T5 it doesn't show up in the menu. And my T5 does not get a signal on the changed transponders. I've ordered a new 8PSK module to see if that makes a difference.

this forum is to help each other but when the same question has been asked and answered so many times over and over and over again reading,trial and error is the only answer to give peeps like yourself that just don't get as you said.

That doesn't work either, still missing lots of channels and many TP's with no signal. I'll wait for my new DL100 to get here.

who cares about them they are not scannign in channels. Just leave them there.

did you amke sure your dish setup was changed to your settings.

OK so I changed to 21.500 but it wont let me exit. Get msg. "same TP exist try again" I noted that a lot of transponders were at the 21.500 and turbo 8 and getting signal and some were at that setting and no signal.

First delete all your channels then Go PID scan change (1) 12.224 symbol rate from20.000 to 21.500 then scroll to Transmission change from DVBS QSPK to Turbo8 then just scroll back to frequency it will show (1) 12.224 with the right arrow on the remote change it to (2) the T/P Freq. will change to 12.239 delete it leave it on (2) and just keep deleting each T/P it will keep changing T/Ps on its own till it goes back to (1) and it won't change to any other t/p # they have all been deleted but 12.224 then exit out of there go to auto scan and scan 110 the receiver will scan all new T/P frequencies then scan the rest of your sats

i just got my new stb today, set it up, but in the setup the signal shows low or no quality & strength, but was able to scan, it took awhile.
when i'm watching the tv screen shows signal 71%, did i make a mistake in the setup menu or do i reaim my dish ?
