Virtual Private Network (VPN)

After setting up a few Mag254s for friends I am considering trying IPTV myself. I plan to use a VPN but no idea how to set up the Mag254 or if it is possible. Anyone have idea where to find out about how to do it. I have been to numerous VPN sites but my stupidity has held me back AGAIN. I could not find the information at any of the sites. I dont know if it matters but I will have a new Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 dual band wireless gigabit router here Tuesday. Any information about how to set this up or where to look to find out would be warmly received

In order for everything on your network to go through the vpn, you would need to set it up in your new router. Hopefully, the manual that comes with it will tell you how to do this, and that this router can do this. My Asus router can and does. Otherwise, if you run the software supplied by your vpn supplier, only the computer you have this installed on will be on the vpn. Pick a vpn location physically close to your location for best speed, as this will effect everything. Hopefully, your new router will support a vpn.
