What type of lnb?
If it's a legacy type switch the 129 to one of the others and bypass the switch. Remember that whenever connecting/disconnecting cables, make sure receiver is off (power switch on back of receiver).

Having a problem locating 129 Have 110@119 no problem .Had a a new roof put on and they took the dish down .Before the roof the new roof when on i had 129 s 75 q78 Now i can;t seem to find it .I Thinking it mite be the lnb ,Spent 4 hours looking for it good signal on 110 s 97.q97 .119 s 95 q 95 :hide:

What type of dish are you using?

Does it have a skew adjustment? (rotate the dish like a steering wheel)

If so then the skew of the dish is set wrong, if the dish does not have a skew adjustment and you are using a 3 LNB bracket then something has knocked the LNB for 129 out of alignment.

To find 129W use TP 12516, it is a CONUS beam and is in SD.

It also could be that the mast the dish mounts on is out of alignment, the mounting mast must be perfectly vertical, front to back left to right.

Also 119W is the center satellite so the dish needs to be pointing directly at that satellite, use TP 12457 to find 119W.

If i move the skew will that not mess up 110@119 .poll is plum front and back @side .Do you know the distance from 119 to 129 .If know that i think i could find it .terry thanks for your help. PS.not sure if the lnb is good

If you have 3 separate LNB's on that dish and are using a bracket to hold them, then the spacing is 119 in the center, 110 on the right hand side (looking at the LNB's from the back of the dish) at 9 degrees, (don't know the exact measurement as it can vary between brackets) and 129 on the left side at 10 degrees.

If you think the LNB for 129 is bad then you could try a swap with the one for 110 as you know that one is working.

Now with 119 as the center satellite you will not lose that satellite as you skew the dish, (if your dish has a skew adjustment) if you have 110 and 119 and your spacing is correct you should have 129.

If you are using 3 dish type LNB's and the 3 LNB mount for those types of LNB's (a dish 1000 LNB mount) then the spacing is all ready set correctly.

Now if your dish does not have a skew adjustment and the bracket or LNB holder is adjustable then the two outside LNB's will be at different elevations related to the center LNB.

This elevation is different at different locations, if 119W is your Due South satellite then the two outside LNB's will be level to each other, if you are East of 119W then the bracket needs to be tipped os the 129W LNB is higher then the 110W LNB, remember that the satellites are not in a straight line across the sky but in an arc, the amount of tip to the LNB's in the bracket needs to be set correctly to this arc or you will be missing satellites.

Dishpointer.com will give you this information as to the skew or tip to the LNB's, it will give you a map with a line on it pointing to the satellites from your location, all you do is enter your address and select the "Multi LNB" option for 110/119/129, this will give you the correct angles needed for 3 LNB's.

Hi Terry up and running on 110 .119 . VERY weak signal on 129 tp 12475 s70 c65 some for the there tp are weaker ,My set UP Is DREAMLINK t5 33 inch dish three lnbs with a 4 switch 110 on 2 119 on 1 129 on 3 .Have little problem scanning .I when i scan i am missing 101 i think i need that to up date the guild .I am a tennis nut can get 400 sd ok .But can find the hd channel for the tennis Before they took my dish down to do the roof i had the tennis channel in hd .When i scan first do a factoy reboot go to 110 up date the information the same 119 @129 .110 on for switch 2 119 on 1 and 129 on 3 go back to 119 and scan .There two way to scan go back to the main menu and scan or scan on 119 tied both still can get the guild to up date .Said that dish epg channel exist .I do have a part guild but can;t up date 4 or 5 hours a head .Look like i can;t pay you back but maybe i can help some eles .thanks.
