View Full Version : FireTV Stalker Settings?

I've tried the latest version of the iptvstalker app 0.6.01 (armv7), but can't get the video to show up with internal player. Once I select VLC as the player, it works but then in about 10 seconds the app crashes? Any one can suggest what settings can I set to make the internal player work?

What kind of video are you trying to play?

he should be good to play anything with vlc i think it has most of the codecs ??

iptv. usual set. VLC does not work. its very buggy. If I use mx player as an external player it works. I guess that is the solution for now. There is another iptv stalker based on kodi. but that needs a $10 donation. some day I hope they fix the internal player to make it work well.

I couldn't get VLC to work with Kodi either so I just use the basic Firetv Kodi setup. I use IPTV Stalker (not Stalker Client) without any problems...it is FREE so whoever is trying to get a donation from you is ripping you off.

Correct, but I was asking if he's trying to play live tv, VOD or something from local files. :)

I got it working with the stalker client with mx player as an external player. You get epg as well with the native client. The stalker kodi client does not get epg etc. I tried the regular stalker client under kodi and it didn't work. :) The native stalker client works well.

Regular Stalker and Native Stalker? There are 2 Stalkers...they are called Stalker Client and IPTV Stalker. It would help those who are reading this, and also need help, if you used the proper terminology so they know which one you're talking about.

Native Stalker is the STB Emulator from the apps of firetv.
The regular stalker is the stalker app in kodi. :) sorry for the inconsistancies
