depending on location an 18" will work and eliminating 119 won't make a difference

Then i would say that a 18" dish is not going to cut it i would consider a 24'' instead.

Agreed...Maybe a 20" but a 24" would yield better results. When I was using sat,i could only get 1 transponder (conus) on the 129 sat with an 18" dish in the GTA.

yes bro if he / she wants all the tp's best results would be a 24" dish.

It should be a 24" or larger elliptical dish, this type of dish will have a better chance of seeing 3 satellite vs one 18" dish designed for two only.

Or find an old Dish 1000, it is setup for those satellites.

And to see what size dish you can use for 129W take a look at the link below, select the CONUS beam in the pink area at the top of the site, (the Canada beam is not used) zoom into your location where the dish is going to be mounted and click on it, this will give you an estimated dish size needed for error free reception on 129W, as it has a funny footprint.

Just for the tally book...any dish with a pan or reflector size bigger than 18"W x 20"H is not an 18" dish...or what some call an 18" round dish. Next size up would be the pan or reflector on something similar to a dish500 which would be roughly 20.5"W x 22"H and they go up in size from there. The one in picture above looks to be what is called an elliptical or oval dish and is most likely 24"W x 18"H or larger.

The dish is an oval 18" dish!!
