I can get a X10 new in the box for $25
Are they any good... or should I pass?

I've never heard of this box, but wanted to clarify as you asked if they are any good, but you didn't say for what. I see the box does have a blind scan which could be a plus. Let us know .

they are a clone of another receiver i think jynxbox, at another couple of site that i read at there is lots of discussion, they are $boxes they do 8psk, fairly easy to set up thats about all i know

I was going to use it as a second receiver for P$..

I have been reading they are a true clone of Jynxbox V7... so it should be a half decent box... ready to go out of the box...

So for $25 if it sucks.. I'm only out a few bucks... could always use it as a back unit up for my Pinwheel

So heres your review..

took about 5 minutes to setup box
Blind scan of 110,119,129.. took aprox 4-5 mins Scanned in 1509 channels
Great HD picture
EPG Populated FAST

So Im gonna say Best $25 Ive spent in a while.
Ive seen them on Fleebay for $60.. might order another.... we shall see......................

Ill do a follow up after a few days

Thats what the specs online say... But i had it up and running on a BEST 4X1 .. running 3 birds.. brought in 1370 channels... changed to the powered switch get 1507 channels and 300.ish radio scanned in... works great
75 feet to dish

hope a mod spots this russian smut / spam and removes all these posts. Its simple to translate it from russian to english but i wouldn't suggest it.. lol

Paid 60 for one works better then the linkbox8000 better epg and picture easy setup does get warm but I used laptop cooling fan underneath it. Couldnt get the wifi dongle to work tried it on the link box as well won't connect 99 percent signal

your receiver may be to close to your router a replacement can be purchased use jynxbox on fleabay

router is upstairs tried it on both floors no biggie i perfer direct line to network adaptor thanks though

it was 63.00 on fleabay then went up tp 119.00 now its at 101.00 i think amazan have them for 60 or 70 as well.

well it does not have high enough milliamps
4 lnbs i have so this pup needs a fan and does not have the millis that jynx has
power supply aint gonna last
