What type of dish and lnbs are you using and what transponder are you using to scan for 119?

You need blue bars to scan. Wrong setting or improper alignment of dish or bad switch is not allowing bars to turn from red to blue. More info is needed

Bypass the switch and hook 119 up directly to your box. If you still get red bars then your alignment is off...if you get blue bars then it's your switch. Try using a different connection on the switch ( 3 or 4) or a different switch. Don't forget to change your info if you do this.
