I just received my new Technomate HD 5402-M3.
Looks like some shipping damage, the remote was in 3 parts, I snaped it back and it seems to work but the receiver
is in PAL mode, the trouble is that the remote want control the receiver but 3 seconds after boot up and the power
button on the VFD or the up/down arrows want work but 3 seconds after boot up.
This seems to be a software problem to me, my ?????? is does anyone know what rs232 cable is used for this receiver and what loader to use.

This is going way back but the european software called Fausto ran the Technomate
if you google Fausto and Technomate you will find more i do remember a bit about Fausto
it does have a section for rs232 setup its the same as the coolsat from what i remember i think that
was a null but not sure off hand.

Ok it is fixed, some dumb azz at the factory loaded it with the software for a 5402/m1 when it should have been 5402/m3, what a pain in the azzzz this has been.
Up and running with powervu options,LOL.:yeaah:
