ok, i pulled one of these units off a 10' bud yesterday, the dish was just sitting there on one place for the pass 4-5yrs, was sitting low, could be pointin at G1 or so, so only about 3" of the inner rod was exposed. . .
anyway i took the actuator home, hooked it up to the 4DTV receiver and it came to life plus it has on a Von Weise wether cap/boot on the motor end. . .total lenght of the inner rod was like 28". . .and the external can measure about 2"
this is my problem now. . .
when fully extentend the inner rod seems to have to much play as if the bushing is gone, seems to be usin a teflon bushing at the end.
can a person get a repair kit for one of these?
i was lookin online but didnt find anything.
