Okay I bought a new smart TV and setup the Mag254 today.
Most of the issues I have solved but one nagging problem remain the big "S" in the top left hand corner of the screen.
I have the Mag 254 setup on HDMI 1 the S is always there in the top left corner while using the Mag 254 on HDMI 1.
If I switch to antenna the S is gone leading me the believe it's Mag 254 related not TV related. But I'll be dammed if I can get rid of it.
Any suggestions as to how to get rid of it? It's most annoying?

So the good news is I did some browsing checking out some movies and realize the S is gone. Not sure what I did to get rid of it. But the issue is resolved for now.

Turned the Mag 254 and TV on today and the "S: is there again on the top left just below the volume dispay from the Mag 254.
Looking for ideas on how to get rid of it for good,

So from the menu I went to sports browsed around and the same with adult channels neither had the "S" and when I went back to English channels the "S" was gone. Not sure what the "S" stands for or how to eliminate it. Ideas anyone.

I am new to this but I think the S is there from the local channels only - could be where the server gets its channel from ..but I do not think it is the mag 254 but is the tv channel itself on the server ... its not on all the channels though, mine is only on the locals

I have not seen it on the locals at all. I am new to this as well. Once the "S" disappears it seems to remain gone just wish I new what it was and how to make it go away consistently.

I am having the same problem but only on CNN channel, all other channels are fine. I am guessing it is from the source.

Ever think it is the Smart TV. I have heard that some of them do not play well with these and other boxes.
