no network.......option ......can't set up receiver on sv8k

hi guys..
got a refurbished rec...the other day........i have my old slvan connected to it.....and a new 8psk....
the receiver seems to take some time getting past power on ....then it goes to language.....
no detection with slvan.....on start up...
no network connections in the menu..................
this is a sv 8000 hd....
what do i need to do..........not getting an internet connection ............

ok..........got your link...for the bin....
downloaded it and loaded it into receiver........sw update.........
no network settings available.
and
when i checked version info..............the bin was there called a hd20e.....same as i had before....
what am i missing?

i notice under files........there is this wiznet...........is this necessary......to setup the dongle.????
can't understand why the bin isn't recognizing the svlan???????

yes the........receiver rebooted upon entry of the bin....
and i can see a green lite on through the top grid of the rec. at and near the dongle.

i can see the green lites on even when i pull the dongle off....

do you think there is something wrong with the dongle???
i do see a small net connection lite go OUT when i unplug the dongle......and it comes back when i reinsert the dongle......so net connection seems to be there.

Did you find a solution for your lack of detection by your receiver?
I've had the same issue for the last few months with my sv8k where my IHUB doesn't seem to be found at receiver bootup so there is no network options in the menu. I've also had a message sometimes that says network adapter wrong version or something to that effect. This is with a long running setup with no changes made to the setup anytime recently so you gotta suspect hardware failure. I've been able to correct the problem by repeated reboots or sometimes just letting it sit for a while.
If anyone pinpoints a solution to this please post.

friend something might it happen if it was working before this started,if you remember the date that it was last working,try to restore your laptop to an earlyier date when it was working,then it might work again,hope that helps friend....
