Problem with Dish 1000 antenna and Dreamlink T5

Just had a Dish 1000 antenna installed with a VIP211Z (Works great}a few days ago.
Today I disconnected the VIP211Z and hooked up the Dreamlink HD
Seems that with the Dreamlink HD that it gets a signal and able to watch CNN but not Fox news and not most others.
Seems when I go into the Menu I get a Signal on 110,119,and129 but the signal goes away after second or two later.
Would it be best to have the VIP211Z left in and just hook up another cable to another LNB port so maybe there is more power from the VIP211Z
to the other LNBs on the dish?
Or would I have too get a switch to have for the extra outlets from the LNB?...Thanks alllllll

I have read atads that it might be best too use a power inserter on port 1 or a dp44 since they say that the
Dreamlink is a Power hog?
Can I get away with using a Dreamlink T5 or
Jynxbox HD
Ilink 8500 that I have laying around without using a power inserter and dp44...........Thanks all

Leave the VIP211 hooked up to the #1 port on the D1000 LNB, this will power the LNB.

The Dreamlink can then go on the #2 or #3 port on the LNB.

It's the D1000 LNB thats the power hog, most FTA receivers can not run it correctly, that LNB likes it's power, the VIP211 will put out 19 to 22 volts DC at 1 amp to run that LNB, the Dreamlink can at best will put out 18 volts DC at 500 mA.

I will just leave the VIP211 on the LNB port 1
and my dreamlink will go on port 2 of the Lnb
Thanks for saving me from having to buy a power inserter that I would not need....Thanksssss.JT

I reconnected the vip211 back in port 1 at the dish
And added a cable too Port 2 at the dish and my Dreamlink HD
is working great on 119 and 110
Only problem is that I cannot get any HD programing on 119 and 110 (shows NO signal{I know the HD board works since I just unhooked it at my house with a Dish 500 Dish}
and I cannot get my Dreamlink HD to get a signal on 129.(on the VIP211 I get all the HDs on 129,91 and 110}
Will I have too live with the SD stations? Thanks JT

Will I have too live with the SD stations? Thanks JTfriend whats the settings for sat 129 that your using including ports and any switches on your setup,make sure your using tp 12516 with port 3 for sat 129,and are you getting any signal and quality for sat 129 at all....

Just a Cable to port 1 for for the Vip211
and a Cable too port 2 for the Dreamlink Hd

I had my dreamlink Hd NOT getting a signal today(well was getting a picture till I replaced a Vip211}
I have been getting a good signal with the Dreamlink HD on SD stations but for whatever
reason I could not get a HD signal at all.
Anyways I hooked up a Jynxbox Hd V1 or V2 receiver
I got all the Stations back INCLUDING all the HD stations
Wondering why with the Dreamlink HD I was not getting a Signal and NO HDs(maybe I screwed up somewhere?}
But with the Jynxbox Hd I was able to get everything?????

took my Dreamlink to my friends house and it works great(all HDs and SDs}Not a HD board
My jynxbox verson 1 is working great with the newest dish 1000 satellite dish (110,119 and 129}Cable from Jynxbox too input 2 of dish1000
But its funny that the dreamlink worked great till I unhooked the cable off of the satellite dish and put it back on......At least the Jynxbox works like a charm........
