Hi To All.
My antenna is an Orbitron 9' and is good it moves up-down and west east.
I have the above system I used in the past but I heard we have new Sats
and we can see some free channells.
My coolsat 8000 is factory loaded true fta.
I have a spliter between the coolsat and the 4DTV so I can use both systems one as regular tv and the other HD tv by flipping my tv mode.
I tried to see the galaxy 19 at 97W my 4DTV it's on T5 I get nothing.
My horizon is limited so I can see from 87W to 111 W.
Let me know what you see free with 4DTV 920 alone.
I want to prove that my system works.
Thanks.

Thanks augoldfinger.
I tried with the 4dtv receiver I got no signal.
I tried with coolsat 8100 and I get no antena signal on 3740 H 25320 .
It seems that I lost my lnb or a coax is basted.
When the wather will worm up I will see what is wrong and we will see
if I can watch tv again.

Well everything on your end may be fine.

It seems they've removed those or something. I get no signal too.

4060 H 28000
Pentagon Channel works

You cant use a splitter with satellite receivers, the power supply's will not feed the LNB's as the splitter does not have a DC path through both ports.

Also the receivers will fight each other, it's best to use an A/B switch or a 4 in 4 out DisEQC switch.

A splitter can be used with the 4DTV & Coolsat as long as you use a DC-Pass and setup correctly.

I put this diagram together quite a while ago, but it still works.
This is how my setup is wired and working fine.

This is a good pic of a 4DTV and FTA setup wired together also, I don't remember where I found it but it was a while back.

With a 4DTV receiver -

AMC4 - 101w W4 on Ch 16 is an open religious show 24hrs a day. - Its analog but it will show the receiver works if thats what your intend to do, pretty sure every one of the 4DTV channels are all subscription pay.

You can go to - AMC18 - 105w -W5 with 4DTV - This sat has a bunch of 4DTV channels, Ch420 (Outdoor Channel) or Ch421 (Versus) and you should see it say (Subscripton Required) and that will show the 4DTV side is working.
