I can't get much better than a 50% signal on 82. Channels start pixelating around 44 or 45%. 91 has a 95% signal and comes in strong even during storms. Slightest bit of bad weather and I start losing my HD channels. Just wondering what everyone else is getting for a signal? I'm in southern Ontario in Hamilton Area.

It's a small one. I had a seperate one on 82 trying to get a better signal last summer. Didn't seem to make any difference. I'm going to try a bigger pan on the weekend just on 82

Is this the "S" reading?? Or the "Q" reading??
If you have a low "S" reading (under 50 to 60%) then it could be your coax, (too long or the wrong type) ground block, (wrong type) too many splices or switch. (bad port)
If it's your "Q" reading then it can be the dish (wrong size for your location)(or out of plumb) or LNB is going bad.
Also your location can have an impact on your signals on 82 and 91, too far south of the US and Canadian border and your out side of the footprint for one or both satellites.
Here are two links to active footprint maps for 91 and 82, find your location and zoom into where the dish is located, then click on it, this will give you an idea on what size dish may be needed for your location.
This one is for 82W.

This one is for 91W.

If you get weather related fades then you need a bigger dish. (to a point)
