network settings problem??

Wow...didn't expect to using blind numbers and letters to get a network connection.....this is just dumb...take the security out.
My question is ???how do you know if your connected???
i think i got 1 done but how do i know?


and i tried to set up a second private ......got half way through and when i hit exit....a box opened up to ask if i wanted to save ......yes, no , cancel....i hit yes.........and i never got to finish the rest of the information...for the setup...the name did come up in the opening box where the servers are all listed. whats up with that.....have any others had this happen??

is there a way to edit......out the info......

just enter the info and when you are finished hit the ok button It will tell you if you are connected.
Its not really that difficult to check your input before you exit
To edit just re-enter the info and exit After entering port dont exit just hit the down button
