Can't seem to tune in Sats???

have the t5
still not set up.....
trying to tune in Sats...getting 75 strength and 0 to 20 quality......all in red....
these are all standard lnbs
3 connected to a cheeta diseqc switch...
and one cable out from switch to receiver....
110,119 and 129

now before i got this new t5....i had a sonicview....and the power area of receiver died....i replaced it and was having the same problem with the 2nd one it before it died...lasted 2 days. I believe there was an incompatability
problem with the new power assembly and the old part of the receiver..

I might add that before all this crap that happened to my sonicview.......all was well....

would this have affected the lnbs

i have replaced the disqc switch and the main wire coming down from switch to receiver.....

I don't have extra lnbs to retest........
any ideas???

Take the switch out and run cable straight through to centre l n b. Change antenna settings. If you are still not getting quality then re adjust dish.
Don't believe anything wrong with l n b.

i have dropped the switch.......and run straight through to rec...

no luck yet with settings
i need another person to help me tomorrow to align the dish if when i move it.......

If you apply pressure to north south east and west side of dish without losening bolts you can sometimes find that the dish needs very little adjustment. The trick is to get the wife to let yu know when signal turns green. Then you can losen bolt to make minor adjustment. good luck
