unlocking samsung s4

i was gonna grab a Samsung S4 i think i was hoping to unlock it to Wind Mobile. i was wondering what all i need to know. i believe i need to install a program to root he phone and im guessing somehow do something to get it to connect to wind mobile

im aware that it takes more than rooting, thats why i said more stuff has to be done to connect with the network. im just not sure what else has to be done.

i was more hoping to learn how to do it on my own. many youtube videos out there, but a lot of things are American and im looking to make sure its compatible with Wind Mobile.

ive done my share of receiver flashes so im handy, but looking for someone who has successfully done it on their own.

I heard you have to get the phone from Wind Mobile or it will not work. There Samsung Galaxies and other phones are specific to the wind network

it has to be flashed to AWS bands for Wind. if you leave it on anything else you would not be able to connect to Wind.

im hoping to be getting the phone tomorrow night, and im hoping to have some time to try it this week. ill post what i learn and how it goes.
