I installed a brand new Viewsat Max a while back. Scanned my 5 satellites. After a week it boot looped. I tried reloading everything over and over again. I bought another one and last night it boot looped. I was not buying another unit so I played with both of them today. It is so simple that it took minutes to fix.
All you need to do is load a blank channel list through the serial cable with VSHD Loader Version 1.1. I attached a virgin one to use. After I did that, I used the usb to load the cleaner then the factory file then the newest file.
