Server Password

I bought a dreamlink t5 from a reseller. Its all working fine. but when i press the blue button and go to server setup it says enter password. I do not have the password to go to the server setup page. I have asked the reseller but he says he does not want to share it with me. Is there someway i can crack that password. I would like to switch subscription but until I find the password I will have to continue using him. Is there any solution.

It has nothing to do with the server...it's the unit password. The generic password is usually 0000 (4 zeros) or 0227. I think you should do some reading in the stickies on how your unit works.

yes that is right it is the unit password. Nothing to do with the server. I knew about the 0000 but didnt knew about 0227. i will try that. thanks. if not is there any other way to crack it.

There is a server password but no master password for it.You can use the T5 make2dream program and load the new server info by usb This will override the password that your seller put in and should put it back to 0000
0227 is for parental control

will it override the antenna and channel settings.
Is there some way I can see what server he was using.

It won't change anything else.I have not been able to find a way to view the server info.I have tried a few programs but no luck.Maybe someone else knows.
