channel 234

Friends Limesat ultra...says channel 234 (oldies) showing nothing, signal ~15, quality ~ 40. I suggested adding tp 12.501 as no channels on that tp were working and otherwise channels on 119 and 110 were working. They haven't added a tp before and I don't know that unit. Any advice I can relay?

Signal is a connection from receiver to lnb. Quality is alignment which is information coming from satellite to lnb. Signal should be at least 60 or 70 % in order for the lnb to get quality. hope this helps.

I understand that. Q is fine for other working channels just TP 12.501 (like channel 234)has poor S & Q showing and no picture. It was fine 5 days ago so I couldn't understand if dish still pointed fine for other 119 channels. ( I just looked at 234 at another house recv'r with same iks provider and 234 isn't up right now but no Q problem showing. Yesterday other house recv'r had 234 no issues An unlucky coincidence that makes cross checking harder.) I asked if rescanning just that transponder might be the fix, or suggestions.
