18"x24" Elliptical Dish 4 Dual LNB
82,91,110,119
I got it to work all was fine and today 82 and 91 blue bar and all is fine but 110,119 red bars and bad or no signal error message on screen.
At first only some channels on dish were bad or no signal, so I rescanned the sats and now no channels at all. I am sure it is because I cannot log on to the sats. I am getting 96 signal and quality but the bars are red.
Even after reboot, hard reboot, I thought maybe hd module but all hd channels on 82 come in.
Why would it work one day and not the next is beyond me. Any Idea ???
Thanks in advance

What type of switch are you using?
And are all the LNB's of the same type/brand?
If so then whose?
If not then what type's/brand's are they?
Better to use 2 dishes, than trying to use one to pick up 4 sats that far apart.

I have been running J.B. For couple year so I decided to try the T5 , worked fined first couple days now have the same problems as mentioned above , I run 4 receivers in total in my house 2 are J.B. And 2 Dreamlink for about 2 years without a hick up but when I tried the t5 all same settings as other receivers worked good for couple days then like I said same problem one day almost all channels no signal on 110-119 then next day all work fine can't figure it out so tonight put my J.B. back in replace of T5 all same setup and works perfect every single channel comes in just like my other 3 receivers . I have not changed LNB's nor Diseq. Switches nothing in a few years and tried many receivers but this t5 is a first for me with channels not coming in due to bad signal but then next day all work fine like nothing ever happened got me stumped.

I am sure you have checked your settings but do it again. If settings are 100% then its time to open up the receiver and inspect it, see if the caps are ok or anything else out of the ordinary, seems your testing has lead you to this point as there are no issues when you swap that receiver out for the jynx and it works without issue .If you are not grounded properly you may want to consider doing it even if it is to eliminate that as an issue in the future. Let us know what you find.

The elliptical should not be a problem if the proper yolk is used, skew and dish position has to be 100% though.Using 2 dishes would be a little more forgiving if they are not pointed correctly.
Better to use 2 dishes, than trying to use one to pick up 4 sats that far apart.I don't think this is his problem as the JB works fine in the location he is having problems with the DL.

friend I would try to do a factory default on the receiver,re-enter the setting for for each sat and re-scan to see if that helps if you tried everything,it sounds also like your module on your t5 might be over heating and when it cools down the next day it works that could be the problem,if the jb2 its brand new and has a warranty try replacing it,that should fix the problem, good luck friend.....

Thank you for the help guys , I should of mentioned I still get bad signal when I turn receiver on for first time of the day so that would eliminates anything happening when it gets hot but I did notice when I had the T5 hooked up it also gave my other receivers in the house bad signal on some channels but since I put Jynx. back all receivers work fine . I read somewhere that the T5 does not work well with Cent. EMP. Diseq switches and I am running 4 of them so that might be the problem going to order different Diseq switches and report back , thanks again for help.
