ABC seems to have been dropped from the Virgin Island mux on 99 degree C band. Right now the PID that was ABC is showing THIS as a duplicate to the Live Well ch that was dropped earler in the year but the audio for ABC/THIS is badly distorted. The ABC PID still has NPR as a sub-audio ch. I'm guessing that they lost the rights to rebroadcast the NY ABC ch for now--maybe they are in discussions to still carry it but I don't really know that.

I've been informed that all nets in that mux are to disappear and KRBK Fox on tp 3720 is going as well.

I actually haven't been able to get the KRBK Fox for some time now. I thought it might be the dish I use (mini-bud) but I had been able to get that TP pretty good so I figured maybe not.

Sad to hear that VI mux is going away--it gave me lots of options to OTA. I suppose it is going away because of the broadband and fiber coming to the islands.

From a search today, looks like the only net left is NBC. 3720 tp quite strong here but that's on my 10' bud.

they have been up and down at my place. Yesterday evening nothing, this morning OK. I usually just write that off as weather over me or the uplink, but with the rumor that they are going down I wonder about testing their delivery via non-uplink.

Well, the VI mux is still going, but we did loose the NBC out of Casper Wyoming KCWY13 that was on 99 degree C band. Seems the link that was to a remote station(s) is now on a terrestrial link rather than satellite.

Seems the VI mux reduced the bandwidth around 4/15/15. They now are 4 channels at 3812 H 8030 SR--so about half the SR that they used before and a little lower in freq. NBC, Fox, CW/Cozi and THIS

Hum, I've lost the VI mux again. I did play with the LNB on my mini-bud just before I lost the signal so it may well just be me. But I've done a lot of playing and I can't get it back. I'm having trouble getting Movies! on 101 C band too, so it is likely just me.

Thanks, I'll play around some more. Yesterday I got home and Movies! was OK, watched Friday the 13th movies for a while. This morning same ch down--odd.
I started thinking that last change to 99 degree VI mux was a year ago, and odds are they bought a years uplink time, so it could have just been end of contract.

Got the mux back yesterday. Had the slightest twist on the LNB front to back that must have shaded the probes in the back of the waveguide.
