I have done everything to get my new dlt4 up and running but for some reason it will not connect any suggestions

I put in the files and bins, scanned for channels when I go into network settings to imput there and go to connect it comes up server cant connect

ok... any factory defaults involved?....what about typos, you confirmed your login?...port?...des keys?, activate your server slot?...I could go on for hours...

yes I have done that all when I check now it says server connected after I did des keys and all that but when I go back it says connection ok () should there be a 1 there as well

Yup, contact your re seller and and check your server status in the IKS section.

ok, you connected to your network, make sure that your server slot is set to "ON", you can change the setting by pressing the right or left arrow, double check your login info for typos before you save your info, one typo and you are toast, initiate your server and exit..choose to save...turn the receiver off from the rear switch and then back on again, tune in to a working channel...maybe 300, if you don't get video the triple check your login.

I don't mean to be a pain but when I enter my info it all goes back to the x's and my info is not there and I am not sure where you are talking about with the server slot sorry new at this new box I did out dreamlink t4 10_0218bp bin and 10_0617 factory bin in am I forgetting something

ok your server slot is the screen that you go through to enter your P$ info, your receiver can have more than one P$, as for your P$ info, you see that before you save and it goes to Xs, check for typos before you hit save my friend, 7 out of 10 "won't connect" issues are due to typos when the info is inputted, Q's and P's look alike (qp),..count your des keys, you should have 28...have a Mod check your login to make sure that it is active....

if it say server cant connect after you press ok either your info is wrong or your codes are no good.Once you connect and server is on it will say connection ok(1)
