Had my dish ant aligned by a pro. All signals are great. My set up is ex
Sat 119
LNB type OCS-DP
Lnb Freq 11250
22K off
Lnb power off
Transponder 12224
Search opt off
Network Search on
Port 1 110 is Port 2 and Cell 129 is Port 3
Motor disable
Legacy SW off
I loaded Bin HD21
Turn units on I get a box at the bottom in it it says All channels All
Under it says No TV channels
I am not getting Channel 101
I set up all the Three Echostars, started with 119 hit the red button to scan, no channels were showing up, 3/4 through I canceled. Can some of you folks after reviewing this, tell me how to correct this problem?
Thanks a lot.

I dont have that box but by the info you provided the LNB power option should be ON..Try that see if that helps ya..
If that dont work turn the search opt ON.and try that..

I wouldn't feel all warm and fuzzy with this pro doing the alignment since you can't scan in any channels. You should have go him to setup your box also. I noticed in another thread that went know where, that you changed your dish. What dish are you using?

Just looked up and it reads Dish 1000, LNBs say Dish Plus pro

Well I solved the problem. No 1 I don't need a Dis switch, since I am only going to one TV. I switch the Receiver line from the Sat line for 110 and used 119 that did it. I scanned 110 ans 119. But I can not scan 129 Ceil, My set up is the same as above. It will not show confirmation to the right in the sat set up. The only problem I have is I can not get PIC on Porn and movies. States No Service or Scrambled on Channel Locked on porn Title says No Information

Hummmm a dish 1000 LNB..........
Your receiver may not have the necessary DC current to run the Dish 1000 triple LNB, that setup needs at least 650 mA of DC power to run right.
Check the back of your receiver where the coax attaches from the LNB, what does it say??
If i says 500 mA max then you have found your problem, and need an external DC power inserter from a DPP44 switch, this power inserter should be run on it's own coax out to the LNB and attached to the #1 port on that LNB, port 2 and 3 will run your reciver just fin after that.

Well it does say 500 mA max I Kind of doubt this is my problem. Why, because, I never had a DP44 power unit. It it has been work great for A few years. Up until 4 months ago, when I went from DISH to Direct TV. Same receiver, same Sat Dish 1000 ans same LNB

OK the power to the LNB says 500 mA max, well it may have worked all this time but it may have finally given up, it may be too weak to run the 3 headed LNB and it's internal switch setup.
My tests here on 20 of the DP1000 LNB's shows that some can be run on a FTA receiver as some do not quite take the 650 mA needed, and some take more, the average was around 640 mA (if I remember right) some FTA recivers can supply just enough DC current to run the DP1000 LNB but not without some type of long term damage.
There is no way you can test your setup as to the DC current draw, you need a very special engineering setup to do so, as the LNB and reciver under test need to be active and tuned into all 3 satellites.
I would go with the setup I mentioned as it will work and has worked in many of the setups I have done.
Using the DP 44 switches power supply to run the DP100 LNB and it's internal switch keeps your receiver out of the loop as far as it having to supply more power then it can.

Well then, I will look around for a nice priced 44 unit. I ordered on eon EBAY DDP44 and power inverter complete, will be here end of next week. No wire diagram? I will try to figure it out. Thanks a lot.

Terryl on my other post you state I don't need the 44 switch, as long as I don't use more than 2 receivers, in my case I am only using one receiver

Then you don't need the external switch, the one built into the DP1000 LNB will work just fine.
Follow this wiring guide.
Run 1 coax from the DC power inserter for the DP44 switch (you do not need the switch) directly to the #1 output port on the DP1000 LNB.
Run a second coax from the DP1000 #2 output directly to your receivers LNB input.
Set the following for all 3 satellites (110,119,129)
Sat 119
LNB type OCS-DP
Lnb Freq 11250
22K off
Lnb power off
Transponder 12297
Search opt off
Network Search on
Diseqc Port 1
Motor disable
Legacy SW off
Sat 110
LNB type OCS-DP
Lnb Freq 11250
22K off
Lnb power off
Transponder 12224
Search opt off
Network Search on
Diseqc Port 2
Motor disable
Legacy SW off
Sat 129
LNB type OCS-DP
Lnb Freq 11250
22K off
Lnb power off
Transponder 12516
Search opt off
Network Search on
Diseqc Port 3
Motor disable
Legacy SW off

Thanks Terryl for hanging in with me. I changed all the transponder numbers, on the Dish Ant 1000 from left to right is 129, 119 and 110, there is another nipple slightly below the 110, not sure what it is for. I had my coax going from 110 to the receiver. I changed it from that to 119, which is the middle nipple. The rest does not pertain, since you said run a coax from DC power (then you said I do not need the switch) I am still not getting movie channels, states NO INFORMATION in title block, then says Scrambled.

After trying this and that, I still can not get the movie channels. Title's states No Information. Terryl has been great sticking with me. I tried every thing he said to do. Help Maybe, another site might have the answer, if I knew one.
