Factory file for mega tvi

I bought this Mega receiver thinking I would be able to get the dbs-2 channels from my 10 ft. dish. I have a openbox s9 and thought with the mega tvi I could get dbs-2 and the iptv. I put the tuner in WITHOUT the sk200 with the file that was on the receiver. I get nothing. No fta satellites at all. I can not get dbs nor bds-2. I bought it from Ground Control in Canada and they said it was a software problem which they were not aware of.
What I would like to get is the file for mega tvi 3000hd when it came out of the factory. How do I get that file?

Unless you have loaded a 3rd party file to your receiver, your box would have the factory file installed. I have checked my receiver and the C band satellites are listed with transponder information and I am using the latest 3rd party file. Is your problem NO SIGNAL or are the satellites you are looking for not listed in the menu?

I was already told that if I put the 3rd party file on I could not get the dbs-2 fta channels, so I didn't. Used it straight out of the box, loaded some of the c band fta channels. Started with sat 101W and it would only pull up the dbs channels and not the s2 channels. I tried 87W with the same results. I am getting a good signal on the s2 channels but will not scan in. I have an openbox s9 and they all scan in so I know they are there. I talked to the dealer and he told me it was a software problem and they have just found out about it. He did say I could return it. Since then I have loaded the 3rd party file just to see how it works so I may not be able to return it now.
