Serial port seemed not working on my SV8K HD V2

Picked it up recenlty,just powered it up when I took it,but I found it doesn't recognize my svlan adapter as my other SV8K HD(V1) does,worse case scenario is I switch the motherboard in V1 to V2,because I V1's power supply is dying and V1 led screen total unreadable from 2 feet away.

Please advise!!!

Do you get the green and orange lights on the SVLAN? ...
"Yes" No communication through serial port
"NO" No power supplied by serial port see http://www.satfix.net/showthread.php?164250-No-Network-setting-when-i-go-to-menu

Did you load the correct 2028 bin to receiver?

Solved it after loading 2028 bin,my bad,didn't check the version of firmware before post.
