Just wondering when i'll do a rescan of my sats will i have double's of each channel or is there away to delete my existing channel list? Should i do a system recovery and if so will my ps info be saved? Thanks to those who reply!

you can use the delete all channels feature in system recovery

menu-sys recovery...delete all channels......scan in dish settings[red button]...no ps info will be lost..
