New Technology - Coax?

I am going to a new house, one of the installers said he would be attaching the Sat with no drilling, its a a new tech with thin wires?

Does he mean Flat Coax? or is there some revolutionary new coax?

That only goes under the window, you run it under the window between it and the sill and close it.

It will add some loss to your system, so if you have a low signal problem now, it will make it worse.

The new thing is Fiber Optic LNB's and their end run fiber optic receivers, you can now have a dish several miles away (if you have a deep pocket book) and get satellite, this is for only one satellite, you would need a second or third FO LNB, a second or third fiber optic line, and a fiber receiver for each LNB.
