What loader would be used on Jynxbox v4 for files?

Not sure why you want the loader though as you can load files via USB stick which is easier. I only recommend using the loader if you have messed up the box and need to install factory file to start fresh.

Anibus thanks for your response, what would i do load file on usb and usb to box and let if flow from there?

I believe I have already told you via the pm you sent me that the file that came on your receiver is the only file you need. If you try loading a different file on the unit you are asking for trouble. I have read enough threads about loading something different and people bricking their unit.
Use the old saying: if it isn't broken then don't mess with it.

Now for loading via usb follow loading instructions found here http://www.satfix.net/showthread.php?141084-Jynxbox-HD-Dual-How2 but you need to use clone safe files. You really don't want to mess with the unit as it sits right now.

V4 comes with file, all you have to do is put in your settings. 119 starts on TP2 not one, 12224/21500 you should have S and Q there.

Just wondering, do you have a v4+ or a v4? The pic shows you with a v4+, and 2.54. I have a v4, and interested in seeing if it may be possible to update the firmware to something other than the initial 2.44.

you start messing with other files you are probably , more than likely will BRICK the box. Just because these things all look similar means nothing other than they are using the same GUI. They are clones and there is no way to tell if they ar coming out of the same factory. The only real thing they have in common is made in China

Looking at the previous posts by the OP, he may actually have a V4+, if he bought it recently. From a guy who sells it in China who I bought from previously, the difference advertised between the V4+ and the V4 is that the V4+ uses a modified JB200 (called a JB200+) which has a better tolerance for heat. There are pictures out there that do show a difference in the board. Of course, with these "morphs" there is a risk in using a different firmware than originally installed, but as posted by a moderator, no one knows until someone tries it. If the OP did start from a V4 and installed the 2.54, then he might have been the first.

Ok I will make this easy for every one to understand, my jynxbox V6 clone came with V 3.2.47, it is nothing more than a clone safe
version of V 3.2.44, when its clone safe they just add 3, so V3.2.54 is nothing more than a clone safe version of V 3.2.51.
Hope this helps every one to understand.

My V4 came originally with the JX version of v3.2.44, which is running just fine now. I think we're a little off topic now.

That is a V4+ different than de regular V4, first thing different is the main board and separate power supply when the regular V4 has the power supply built in the the main board, the file V4+ 2.54 works very good the only thing I found during my test was the recording timer, when the time of the movie or what ever starts the V4+ will change to the channel that was set but it doesn't start recording, the WiFi connects super fast and few more goodies. The v4+ is working pretty good on the 2.54 on 110 &119 using dish 500, box is not getting hot just a normal warm only problem is that some channels won't open like cw, nbc, cbs, fox sports or baseball channels are not showing, they are on the list,once again thanx to everyone that pointed me in the right direction.

The v4 is a clone, you need to make a copy of your allchunk file, firmware file & user DB before you load any file on a clone receiver.
If you load a file it needs to be a clone safe file like 2.47 or 2.54.

No I have not tried them and you should not try them before you do a full backup of your receiver,JMO.

I tried the 2.44 that came in a regular V4 into a V4+ I had to recover and it worked, once I saw the V4+ functioning properly with the file 2.44 V4 via USB I loaded the 2.54 V4+ file back into it all good, I guess if the 2.44 V4 regular works on the V4+ maybe most not all but most clone firmwares can be used in different clones. Best way to do this is via the loader program from your PC to the box via serial cable. After you have the factory bin, you can load 2.44, which should be readily available. It's best to use the Jynxbox version, not the AZ box version.
