no TV audio from my computer

My Desktop PC has a HDMI outlet on the rear. If I connect a HDMI cable to the TV HDMI port on my TV I see the movie that’s playing on the computer, but no sound. Shouldn't I get the DVD movie i'm watching on the TV with sound? I'm getting video, but no audio. thanks

In some cases you have to go into the control center and select the audio output mode.

What operating system do you have on your PC?

It’s windows 7 home premium 64. I got a Lenovo with AMD athion duel core processor. thanks
