Virus Warning Facebook Password Reset Email [Archive] - satFIX.to

Just to let everyone know that bogus emails are going out claiming to be from Facebook. These claim that Facebook has reset the user's password and the new one is in an attachment. The attachment contains a trojan virus. The email reads:

Dear user of facebook,

Because of the measures taken to provide safety to our clients, your password has been changed.
You can find your new password in attached document.

Thanks,
Your Facebook.

The email should be deleted upon receipt.

Got this one myself. Knew it didn't look like it came from facebook, dont need an attachment to change a password.
