Are you searching for free to air? Blind scan is not used for scanning any iks provider.

Hi freereign, Initially, I was excited to see that Jynxbox could be converted to Azlink as an alternative.... just incase I got a clone. Then I realized that I had confused azlink with azbox. I have an original V2 but without blindscan FTA is really difficult not to mention that I have not found a bin that will adequately drive my hh motor. I guess we will just have to cross our fingers and hope that JB will release a better bin (not likely) or that the clone makers will solve this issue and the file will be backward comparable.

My v2 has never been converted and it will not blind scan on any FTA sat. I have to manually put in the TPs!

that's because jynx & minime are putting out 450mA only. they both have hard time to move a motorized dish.
no mater what bin, it will never increase the power of these stbs !
thats why "new" v6 gives 550mA so it can drive a motor.

I do believe you are wrong the v6 is in fact 650 ma.. and it is a question of runnoing more lnbs.. i dont care about a motorized dish

My V6 drives my HH motor just fine, LNB output is 650mA, I have not tried the blind scan but the option is there.
With the V6 there is no need to update the firmware, it comes with the firmware loaded, just plug & play.
