View Full Version : No Signal--Mega TVI SHD3000

I am in the process of setting up my new mega and I can't get a signal from my dish. I know the dish system is working because I tested it with another receiver. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you were unsure whether the module was in correctly, then take it out and see if signal shows on the box. Then reinstall. Just a suggestion.

Theres no signal showing with module in box. I have a tordial antenna.

No signal usually means settings are incorrect. Go into scan menu and make sure your settings are good...this box doesn't like to use 11250 as a default. Just change to 11250 and scroll up to save as it will default back to 10750.

I did this already--still no signal. Wonder if this box is compatible with tordial antenna and reversed polarity lnb. When sonicview hd box was first released, wouldn.t get signal from tordial. What kind of dish are you using? I am thinking about getting dish 1000.2. Would this dish work with this receiver and can you connect 3 boxes to the 1000.2 without a switch?

yes it works with the 1000.2 and yes you can connect 3 boxes without a switch as long as one of those boxes puts out at least 6mMa, connect that box to port A (119)

I'm using an 18" bell dish for bev and initially had it set up to a 24" eliptical for dn....no problems at all. If you check the scan menu, this box is compatible with just about everything out there. 3 am wake up call so I have to go....I do hope you figure something out.

500mA, not enough to run the internal DP34 switch, the just out Jynx V6 clone puts out 6.5mMa, this box would be ideal to run the switch

Because of Tordial Antenna, you have reverse polarization. Change V to H AND H to V. That will make it work.

I tried this and it didn't work???????? Do you think I could not have my module in right or that I got a bad one?

Got problem fixed. Bad sk-200 board. Had one here, stuck it in and she took off. Thaanks ffor everybody's help. Two issues down--one to go.
