118 help please

Hi I have been running 110/119 for long time now I am trying to set up118.8 for my dad when he babysits I have dual lnb when i scan I get channel but not the channel I want 9812(rtP) Portuguese am I doing something wrong

what kind of LNB?... I believe you need a special LNB to get 118... that being said I used to pick up a few channels without it.

Wha size of dish are you using? Typically for 118 you need a larger dish to get everything working properly.

If you don't have min. 33" dish you are fighting a losing battle regardless of LNB's or if you have a power supply.

No problem in Toronto with 18" dish getting 118 at 63% 119 at 99%
