You can build about 50-60 3 bedroom homes with 1 tree.. that would be a "small town"........

The really big ones are redwood, not too good a building material for houses, decks yes.

And the others may be douglas fir, one bad thing about the douglas fir tree is that when it gets realy old and tall it become a widow maker, the tops break off real easy, then hang up in the upper branches, and fall later, they have killed hikers.

The really big ones are redwood, not too good a building material for houses, decks yes.

And the others may be douglas fir, one bad thing about the douglas fir tree is that when it gets realy old and tall it become a widow maker, the tops break off real easy, then hang up in the upper branches, and fall later, they have killed hikers.

they have killed & maimed some loggers too...
