Annoyed !!!

i am using a round dish 2 seperate dual LEGACY type LNBs.

I setup my dish and i have a cable feed directy from each lnb to a cable going into receiver.

trying to find bell 82 and 91, i get 91 no problem but when i attempt to find 82 i cannot pick it up for the life of me.

ive done this multiple times years ago without any trouble. pick up 91, skew dish to get 82 and good to go.

swapped out LNB/s cables, everything.

are you sure you are grabbing 91 with the proper LNB,?

yeah i sure. i am not even converned about that. all i want to do is pick up 82 then worry about all that later. no matter where i point the dish i can't pick it up and there is absolutley nothing in the way.

ok out od curiosity where are you located? any more than 100 miles south of the Cdn / US border and you are out of luck

ok i just read that the signal could only be detected on transponder of my 3100 on 15 and 16. i now have a 100 signal. but not back to my previous problem. connected to my nufison hd with 82 selected my signal strength wont go over 42 percent. it says that even when the cable isn't connected. and ive selected proper port and even connected it directly to receiver

u need to try from start frequency tp's and work your way down the list until u have a lock if you try 12224 u wont get nothing .. try 12428 and 12443 on 82 and see what happens ..do you have your autoe tp update set to on or off? set it to on and try these frequencies i know this works because it is how i have to find the transponder list on mediaportal so it works !but not sure bout nf hd system i tested boxes lots. with 129 same thing tp 12516 you need to find the transponder that one will have the list to start your scan.if you have 91 set then 82 should be right there to unless you got them backwards lol right left to left right hahaha .idk if this will help you but i had same problem with "testing" this sat 82 .i moved everything around more then few times and more rewiring then you can shake a stick at ! but i got it!! after i figured out witch transponder had the list was no problem 90% signal i had it lined up the whole time lol

you haven't mentioned what switch you are using or your sat settings?

ok i finally discovered why i haven't been pickin up 82, i now have both 91 and 82 locked in at 100%.

now for scanning purposes i connected 82 sat directly to my nfusion HD receiver. now im in antenna setup and when i select 82 from the list and here my setup.

lnb 11250
disec is auto
legacy disabled
network search no
search option all
tp list 17 12457 V 21500

now the problem i have been having with this from day one is that it either shows no signal or a signal of 43% no matter what i do. its not the wiring or cables or grounds or anything like that cause i swapped everything out. am i missing somthing or do i have to do a factory reset or what.

sounds like the HD module is pooched

Go to Legacy switch and select SW21

the switch he has is working fine otherwise he would not be getting some transponders
