Another Dead Ultra Lite

Hello gang, a friend called me last night that his Ultra Lite started doing some stuff, first was the remote control the receiver didn't want to work with the remote control and then no audio nor video from HDMI, checked the RCA cables same thing, he then using the rs232 cable installed the factory file after factory file he installed the V031 and when all was finished the receiver turned OFF and never came to life again, no red nor green led working loader gives message, STB in error status he tried many things but it simply doesn't turn ON......any ideas? TP

Pull JB200 module out then see if it will power on.

I told my friend about it, he removed the JB200 tried to load file but no go the receiver didn't turned ON...thanks Iq. TP

Don't give up on it, pull the main board out and look for hot spots or bad solder joints or cracks in the solder, or bad capacitors,
I have found that the soldering on the jynxbox is very poor, and check the off & on switch.

Do what this very help full member says I had same thing he said to try the same thing as he told you and boom it worked. I was reddy to throw it out thinking it was the power supply. He saved me a lot of time and really money. Great member . And thank you again.

It came from the dead, I used a wire to jump terminal 3 and 8 of the U7 chip loaded the factory file and now it turns ON red led first then green, but it doesn't show any video nor audio via HDMI nor RCA cables, tried to turn it OFF with remote and it doesn't turn OFF, its alive but no response to the remote control, loaded file V035 all the same, tried to load files V036 and 111 loader doesn't let me load those files, message about maincode not the same. Try to turn the receiver off with the power button on the front, then press the STB button on the remote then see if it will turn on
with the remote, and check to see that the battery is good in the remote.

The Ultra Lite has no buttons only the killer switch on the side...........I tried the remote with another STB and works good, I checked the soldering points on the board all looks good. Turbo

If you have another ultra lite copy the allchunk file from the working receiver, then try to load it to the receiver that's not working.

One more thing to check, is the port for the remote extender, it has a small contact inside, if it is stuck open or the remote
extender cable is bad or not plug all the way in the remote will not work & jynxbox with only factory file will boot to a black screen.

Copy the all chunk from another lite and won't let me load it. Only 035 file is allowed to load. Will check the remote port thingy. TurboPirate

The best way to check it is to plug in the extender then unplug it 3 or 4 times.

If you have a working other ultra...clone it to the other .
