i am trying to load my birdog sat finder.

i am in canada wondering what is the proper sattelites to use. i haven't played with this for a while so i am confised as to which ones to load up. it seems even though it tells me i have 82 and 91 they are both pointing to 91.

91 are sd and 82 have hd channels. If you have 2 l n b or a twin then you can get both.

Simply attach both LNBs together and you should be able to get both 91w and 82w. You might find it easier if you use the 110,119 bracket to get bev.

To get 82 without a HD receiver you change the transponder to 12428

You would need BR if you will be pointing DP lnb's.
And you're correct that the Birdog can't distinguish whether you're pointing at 82 or 91. It's been like that for a year or two.

You should use dishpointer.com and input your location to find the skew settings for you 91 and 82. You should have no problem if you put the settings right. You don't need any satfinder.
