Everything was working till tues May 6..I believe ECm was sent then ! .Anyways after reset everything numerous times I still cannot connect,,I also did a factory default and re-enter my networking settings same as before, now When I run XX-Log this Is what I get; 05/09@1430 ECM received
Could not resolve: servername
no server available

my provider tells me my code is good.. not sure why the log is still showing ecm received ,,, its almost like the unit is locked...I even unplugged everything when i did reboots..

the only thing i did not do was reload the south bin which is r25 I believe,, the last time I did a factory default I did not have to! Any ideas! thks

your server is either down or your setting are incorrect. In the future don't touch anything when the server goes down, it's not necessary.

Are you running XX on a PC or router?

looks like some of your P$ info is incorrect. Check that u've got the correct IP addy. If that don't work try the url addy.

Well, trust me I,ve got all info correct and double checked many times,,,,but I took the lid off and it looks like I may have a blown c11 capacitor, the top is popped up on it ,,,,should have changed them all when I did c10...So I let u all know what happens after I change it out.....thks guys!!:yes::yes::yes:

OK so your problem is probably the DSN is not resolving in the router. Are you using the Domain Name for your server or the IP. If using Domain Name try the IP, if it starts to work tell me the firmware in your router and I will tell you how to fix it. :)

BTW fix C11 for sure or the unit will fail soon.

yes I tried both domain and IP, but had been working with Domain,,everything worked great till May 6..

I have 2 NFHD's which I just changed the dreaded c10 capacitors on. One has r27 bin and one r25. r 27 has been up and running well r 25 was collecting dust until I decided to change capacitor and test it. Long story short r25 bin didn't work for me with xx client router r27 did. Try r 27 bin

or are gateway and local DNS blank?

Also when you make changes have you reboot router?

Yes basically the same but I,ve been using different no's,,,,IP and gateway, DNS

Fianally got it going again after changing capacitors c11 & c6 ,, Use all my original settings but I had to go with IP instead of Domain in startup script, previously using Domain, but would not work this time,, not sure why!! Working now!!

So are you saying that the Local IP is some other number like 192.168.0.1 and the gateway and the local DNS are the same as the 192.168.0.1?

The reason I as is your PC may still resolve the DNS when xx-client might not if it does not know where to look.

My IP of the receiver is set to the subnet of my network ( no changing that),,My gateway to the Goo3 is no doubt my router access...DNS 008 and its working !! thks!
