My friend has a Nano HD, and noticed that there is no "SAT" button on the remote to jump to different satellite or to switch to all satellite.

I have heard that Linkbox 8000 Plus Remote will work on the Nano HD. Is this true? Anybody tried it out. And also does the "SAT" button on it works for Nano HD, to jump to different satellite.

You do not need to use any other remote. Just press the ok button on the remote and scroll through your sats at the top.

Thanks. I noticed that. But it would be handy to have just a SAT button on the remote that directly takes you there instead of scrolling through each sat, favourite and guide list. Most of the fta remotes have this SAT button.

another option is if you have a learning remote like a Logitech you can set it up for the nano premium rename it nano HD and you will have all the functions working and if using a logitech it will work much much better than the stock remote that comes with the nano HD
