No north ?

Hi there,

Just got my new dreamlink hd t5 and can't pickup north. Works fine on my old receiver Limesat HD Air but won.t scan north. I have read and read and read many posts. Not a newbie been testing for many years and this box has me baffled. Unable to get HD on 110 ch 9421 as it says bad or no signal. Loaded all files and factory reset each time. Anyone else not getting North HD or did I get a dud. Lol.

Wow Ty for fast response. 9421 is velocity and yes it scanned in but says bad or no signal.

The HD Module is installed with arrow pointing to rear.

The module is correct and the specs are HD Version 8psk DEMOD/REV0.5 Dated 2013/04/15

We changed LNB,s and 4x1 DISEqc Switch and all worked fine on old unit with squealing Limesat HD Air lol and bought this unit no squealing but no north or HD South.

run your lnbs directly to rcvr and test them individually Could also be a bad module

I know you said you were not a newbie...but did you load newest file and do a restore from the menu drop down? You said "no north" but you are looking at 110;9421 I don't think that is north? What sats you want? Kind of confusing talking north and south at the same time. Check system info for current module and file.

It may be the module. From the symptoms you describe, the same thing happened to a friend of mine on a brand new unit. he purchased a new one for 25$ and is now a happy campwe.

Low and behold it was my module. Bought a new one and all is running great. Thanks everyone.
