Minor Adjustment

Was a little warmer out this afternoon as I tweaked my system. I dialed in USALS reference at zero with 113W Satmex6 and adjusted my south and elevation. I can now pull in 63 and 61 with a few more in between. I'm still a bit confused as to which bird is which as the TV says "congrats, you're on 61.5" and my receiver says 61? Oh well, at least I've now got them. A big thank you to Costactc for getting all the Tps, so I could get started on zeroing in on the birds. It is a great confidence booster when you can get quality on a bird and adjust accordingly to max out your signal.

No problemo, wait till you see my post for 97w. By the way, 61.5 is dn Echostar 3 sat.

Don't have the sats listed on my STB after 148. I may be able to get a couple more but have no idea on how to get them in besides the wild guestemate and cross your fingers. Still haven't figured out how to save Tps on the birds when they aren't up, ie wild feeds. Any ideas?

I also have a cs6k, awesome stb for true fta. Your stb is capable of saving and adding sats. Even if no tp show up you have the saved sat for future scanning.

Just checked out my coolsat 6000, figured this would help:

menu-installation-dish setting-ok-scroll down till you find empty sat spots and select and rename.

To insert tp- from install menu go to manual scan and enter all info for tp and scan.
