need help with sonicview 800hd new to this reciever

installed hd20-2028 no chk 2nd chksum 2nd try, detects network adapter, iks info from 360p to test 8000 hd not getting picture or sound. iks info works fine on 360p. what am I doing wrong? by the way 360p not running at same time with 8000hd. how long does it take to start up ? would appreciate any help can't get this reciever to work? thanks

Get pic and sound on channel 101 to confirm the box is working.
What is the connection message in your network settings ?
Dns Fail,Connect fail or connected?

Dns fail.... a problem on your end with your network or settings.
Connect fail... you made it to the server but are denied entry for any one of several reasons.
Connected... well.... .

If you have the 360 and the sv8000 connected to the same network you may be experiencing an IP conflict. If you have both connected at the same time, disconnect the 360, reboot the router and the sv8000 and let us know the results. Be sure to include what Spoiler asked for. Good luck.
