How to run 5 separate dishes to 1 receiver

Have a Dreamlink HD and 5 dishes have 4 hooked up to a disque switch that has 4 inputs. What is the procedure to hook the 5th dish in so I can use with it with the Dreamlink also? Thanks for any info.

Depends on the brand and type of LNB's your using, get a 8x1 switch, Diseqc 1.1 or 2.0 will allow up to 16 satellites to one receiver.

They are all old bev dishes and LNBs but they work with the Dreamlink. Will that 8x1 Diseqc switch,work with the Dreamlink? Will it show the 5 inputs in the menu?

In the settings the 4 sats would use DISEQC 1-4 as usual and you would add the SW21-DISH 1 setting to those 4 sats. (if you have the output of the diseqc running into side #1 of the SW21)

The fifth sat would just get the SW21-DISH2 setting (if you have the fifth sat running into side #2 of the SW21).

The cheaper you go the more headaches in the future.

I have tried this but had switching issues, I had to always run the diseqc into the SW21........

I have more or less same eqpt & setup as booter, tried the setup recc by Mavrick but works even worse. I have a Mega tvi though if that makes a difference.
