How do I remove the clog of my garbage disposal? When my Mom clean the dishes and clean the water container in

the sink the water stays and and when she turn on the garbage disposal the water comes on the other side and some

dirt. I need help guys. I tried baking soda ad vinegar (distilled) But when I just run the water on the sink w/o the

garbage disposal the water just run smoothly. I dont know what causing it though. Any advise will be tried.

Thanks a lot!

It sounds like the feed from the disposer to the other side is plugged up.

What you can do is get some Liquid Plumber foaming pipe snake, pore it in as quick as you can then cover the input to the disposer. (use the one that came with it)

Let it sit for about 1/2 hr then run as hot as you can get it (big pot of boiling water, but be careful) water into it as you turn it on, if this does not unstop it you will have to disconnect it from the pipes and unplug it manually, or call a plumber.

I made sure last night that the feed on the disposal is clogged I mean I verify it but I was wrong, it was the main line though going

to the street or sewer. What I did was pour a half bucket of water to the sink with no GD and found out that the water goes

back to the GD via the feed. Last night I poured a plastic bottle of Drano and so far it's working fine now. Thanks for the advise

though.
