s/pdif ??

Is there a s/pdif optical out on this receiver - I looked at a picture and did not see one

Nope u have to rca to stereo tuner. There has been rumour of another fix to be released shortly. This box has potential, great video, but its one of those kit car projects, u buy it and then wait for the missing parts. lol lol lol

I just hooked mine up with hdmi into stereo and hdmi out to tv.

These units were going to a house with old Harmon Kardon systems that do not have HDMI in or out. One of the TVs does have an optical out but I would rather have the HK process the sound rather than the TV
