Swedish car maker Koenigsegg has released a teaser photo of the One:1 prior to its scheduled debut at the Geneva Motor Show.

The latest supercar out of the Koenigsegg stable will produce one horsepower for every kilogram, which is where the name ‘One:1′ originates. According to the Wall Street Journal, the car weighs in at 1,340 kilograms (2,954 pounds), meaning it boasts an unbelievable 1,340 horsepower.

Given suitable track conditions – and the correct tires – the One:1 can theoretically hit a top-end speed nearing 280 miles per hour. If achieved, it would break the previous land speed record of 267.8 mph, set in 2010 by the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.

If that’s not impressive enough, Koenigsegg claims the car will set new records in the 0-124 mph, 0-186 mph and 0-248 mph sprints, with the latter expected to be completed in just 20 seconds.

Koenigsegg will only build six examples of the car, and all have been pre-sold. The new owners and a select group of individuals will get a sneak preview of the supercar on Feb. 26 before its official launch on March 4 at the Geneva Motor Show.
