NEXT FTA guide info

I've been looking all over for a thread that might have info on why my next FTA box keeps showing fewer chns with the guide info. Rebooted, rescanned. Just wondering if anyone else has this issue and maybe a remedy for it. Thnks in advance!

what do you mean showing less?

about half of my 300's are showing "No Information" on the guide. along with other channels such as CNN, Comedy, animal planet, A&E etc.... Not a big deal, just wondering if there's an update i need to download or something along those lines.

no updaTES,try leaving ot on 239 or 200 for 5-10 minutes

ya it's still not showing up. called a buddy who has the same box i do, but he has a different provider. And he's not having the issue i'm having, so is it possible that my provider would be the problem. I am with U-TV and from what i've read, this provider seems to be on the way out of the Satfix world. any thoughts on this would be great, thanks for your help!

I think you get the guide info from the transponder, not the server connection. I believe you can have a full guide without any IKS server connection. The server gives you access to the cam which gives you access to the picture. :noidea:

tune to 101 or 300 and leave for a few minutes see if the channels appear
