no channels showing at all!

my box been down for almost 2 to 3 days i already turn it off and back on and still the same,it only saids scrammble channel or no signal......does someone knows whats going on?

my box been down for almost 2 to 3 days i already turn it off and back on and still the same,it only saids scrammble channel or no signal......does someone knows whats going on? goto network setting and does it show that the network is connected (this will confirm server either works or has a problem) If server shows connected then the problem is between receiver and dish or lnb problem....if the later is maybe the problem and you have a switch in the line (firstly power down receiver) and use a cable joiner and join the receiver cable off switch to one of the lnb's directly and power up system.....does it now show signal and quality and if so you have a failed switch so replace.....If still not showing signal remove receiver wire off joiner and with a volt meter (VOM) check for voltage and it should read anywhere from 12 to 18 volts DC.....if voltage is present then problem is either a dish has moved or an lnb failure or a wire failure from the switch to the lnb........hope this helps you...cheers...ht
