The channel changes are coming much faster. I used to wait up to 7 seconds for the picture to come in on some channels and now its fast and smooth. I hope I 'm wrong but it doesn't look like the sorting issue is solved. I didn't notice a new option to renumber the north channels like my other receivers. Its a good start and at least now we know there really are some hobbits looking after us. Thanks Frodo team

Do we have a working channel list somewhere? Seems a bunch of the numbers have changed. Is this common?

I found when on a channel if you just hit ok 2 Times you can sort by Sid that way

Don't forget to flash Nano HD v806 1/10/14 file as all code+boot code.

just re-flashed as all code + boot code and there are definitely differences.. scanning of dn was fastest I've ever seen a box go...bev was normal, as in slow.... the sorting seems to be working better.. now when you press service id all the channels are in order unlike before when there seemed to be stragglers... and lastly the epg is working much better for me.. all channels seem to populate for 2 hours and some for 3 so not bad..i'll test more after football game

Anyone with more info RE channel numbers? Mine came up 001-1200 or so, couldn't find all the channels I was looking for. I'm kind of used to 100-500-9400 numbers.

Most all was freezing yesterday because of ECM or key change..
The team is working on fixes for the receiver.. Rome wasnt build in a day plus most knew the box was in a test phase.

from what i can see with this bin epg is still the same and now if you do soft reboot i have to sort channels again

For US there is a couple on 110 and 119 Most are on 129 and 61.5 if I am correct Also think they are in the 9000's

Dont understand what you meant by 001, because my channels start at 101 upwards.. As far as I was told they are still working on fixes.

Press the OK button and change to echo pakage and all channels should sort as sid.

No freezing issues at all for this stb, freezes are usually server related.

I would have to agree with Costactc, the receiver runs great, the only freezing I noticed was when there were server issues... a big improvement compared to the nano premium. The only improvements I could recommend would be the epg (find a way to populate it longer than an hour, maybe via the usb storage) and local channel remapping, and maybe find a way so it doesn't have quite so much lag when going to and from the epg back to full screen tv. Other than that I would say the box is rock solid... runs quite cool I might which is nice to see. Either way great job. I feel this box is a great purchase.

P.S. Just out of curiosity has anyone tried this reciever and bin with Bev? I havent checked yet but plan on testing that tonight.

I am happy to say I fixed my dreamlink and the nano is now on the shelf. I had mine working with bev but good luck changing from south to north with the normal remote, you can't. You can't change sats without scanning them. The universal remote which I had to buy after the fact, does offer this option, but for weeks I didn't have one. I just found the EPG and channel sorting too non existent and frustrating to give this machine, at this time, a thumbs up. If they could get a new file out to fix the epg (mine didn't exist for the most part) and channel sorting, and now that I have the universal remote, I will give this machine another try, until then it keeps all the viewsats, coolsats, limesats and nfusion's company....Make sure to get the universal remote if ordering one of these machines

With its few new issues as all boxes have, working spot on on south and picture quality is outstanding. Awesome tandem with my dreamlink and I haven't had any remote issues.

The standard remote works just fine, it just does not have all the options, like a sat button for one, no way to switch sats, that really got me, now the universal remote does have these options and should be the standard for this box. I agree the picture is outstanding, I was simply too frustrated with too many small issues. I received the universal remote and a new module for the dreamlink and the nano was shelved in less than an hour, and happy to do so.....lol I am surprised it has been a month since the 806, but I will be giving this box another shot once a new file is out...until then....status quo with the dreamlinks and jynxbox.

Its a really good box so far but I have mine on the shelf until the EPG is fixed. Once that is done, way better than my nano SE for pic quality, channel changing and no micro freezes.

The EPG works much better if you can delete as many channels you don't watch or can't get with the PS's you use. Still needs a reboot to populate B*V if your watching D**H or vice versa.
